Bird ecology is not only very interesting but also very important. Bird ecology refers to the study of birds and how they behave within the environment. The study of birds is closely relates to conserving birds. Because they are so important to the environment conserving them is really vital. In order for our environment to survive we need the duties that birds perform on a daily basis. 

Scientist involved in bird ecology has discovered that it is the impact of humans that really affect the existence of birds. Because people are not taking care of the environment birds are becoming extinct. It is bird ecologists who are trying to figure out a way to reverse the negative effect that humans have on the earth which is causing an increase in the death of birds.

The study of bird ecology has also determined that it is not only humans that are a cause of bird extinction but other animals as well. Predators that see birds as prey are also a reason why the bird population is decreasing. Weather is another factor that determines extinction of birds.

What many people do not realise is that birds are important for all sorts of things. This is why bird ecology is so important to make us understand the role birds’ play and also what will happen when all bird do become extinct. Without the study of birds, firstly we would not even know how many species there are out there or how we can go about preserving them for future generations.
